Designer shoe brand Jimmy Choo has announced that it will list on the London Stock Exchange. The company said that the move will raise funds to support its expansion plans for Asia and other new markets.

"Our future as a public company can only extend our reputation," said Jimmy Choo chief executive Pierre Denis.

The company, which is owned by investment firm JAB Luxury, has 120 stores globally and plans to continue opening 10 to 15 stores a year.
