Here at Iceland, we have a commitment to offering a truly distinctive service to each community served by our 760 stores. We have an impressive product range with everything from fresh and frozen foods to wines, spirits and newspapers. Not only that, but our dedicated support centre teams, including buying, marketing and customer services, have helped us to achieve many goals - we were the first food retailer to pioneer home shopping, ban GM foods and now our customers can shop on-line, in-store, by phone or enjoy the convenience of home delivery.
It's an exciting time at Iceland. We have new store openings and a hectic schedule of refits ahead. We're also developing new store formats that will be tailored to local customers and their shopping needs. Over the next few years we plan to open at least 80 new Convenience, Core and Core+ stores and refit over 300 existing stores to fit these different formats.
We now employ more than 30,000 people, across foodservice, wholesale, home shopping and retail. Iceland has retained its Investors in People status, we're a team-based culture, where the atmosphere is one of honesty, openness, support and friendliness, so if you'd enjoy a whole new challenge backed with great rewards and real progress, you couldn't make a better move
