Little Chef bought by Kuwaiti group

Roadside restaurant chain Little Chef has been sold to a Kuwaiti firm for a rumoured £15 million.
The group, which had over 400 outlets at its peak, now has a slimmed-own estate of just 83 sites. It was put up for sale in April for “tens of millions of pounds”
New owner KFGR-UK said it had ambitious plans for the company.
Chairperson Fadwa al Homaizi, said: "KFGR-UK has exciting plans to revitalise the Little Chef brand.
"Little Chef will benefit from a process of brand renewal in keeping with current trends, supported by traditional British values."
