M&B finance director leaves for Rentokil

Mitchells & Butlers has announced that Jeremy Townsend, finance director, has resigned to join the board of Rentokil Initial as chief financial officer.
A recruitment process has commenced and Jeremy will continue in his current role for up to six months to provide an orderly handover to his successor. A leaving date will be determined and announced in due course.
Commenting on Jeremy's resignation, Adam Fowle, chief executive, said: "Jeremy has made a significant contribution to Mitchells & Butlers particularly since taking on the role of finance director in difficult circumstances two years ago. The board would like to thank him for his work and wish him well in his future career".
