Zara is launching online from today. The virtual boutique will be available in selected European markets including Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal and Britain. A study from the Royal Society of Chemistry published today claims that toxic compounds found in the glue used to affix labels onto food packaging can seep through to contaminate the food within.Researchers from the University of Zaragoza in Spain studied four different acrylic adhesives commonly used on food labels. ...read more
Inditex profit falls

Spanish fashion group Inditex said profits fell 1% in the nine months to October 31st to Eu831 million. Total sales at the group, which owns the Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka and Pull and Bear chains, increased by 6% to Eu7.8 billion over the period, with sales in local currencies up ...read more
