This well renowned fashion retailer prides themselves on well-designed, on trend, affordable clothing. With well-established global exposure, this UK based retailer is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join the team. Due to its great success the brand has expanded from womenswear to menswear, accessories, footwear and life style.
Your role will be to provide generalist HR support across all stores and concessions across the UK, Ireland and EU. Delivering information, guidance and coaching on all employment related matters, in support of the company strategy. You will have knowledge of the UK HR legal requirements, as well as having supported payroll at times. This role will offer the opportunity to work on a number of projects within this collaborative working environment, the chance to input ideas and bring new ways of working. Your key responsibilities will include;
*Supporting with recruitment by drafting advertisements, job descriptions and any recruitment materials needed. You will be conducting telephone and face to face screening interviews of shortlisted applicants. Having to work closely with Regional Manager's to manage the end to end recruitment process. Work solely with Head of Retail to assemble and preserve an agency preferred supplier list. Managing alongside the Head of Retail the recruitment budget.
*Oversee employment contracts for both retail management and head office are completed promptly and accurately as per the terms agreed. Ensuring all the correct right to work documentation is maintained, conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance
*Analyse exit interview information, identifying trends, highlighting concerns and making any recommendations whilst highlighting concerns and review quarterly turnover statistics.
*Support and coach line managers to manage performance issues, ensuring that the correct processes are followed. Actively manage all employee relation cases including absence long term sickness, conduct or support with investigatory, disciplinary and grievance meetings maternity, paternity, parental and flexible working requests.
*Provide guidance to managers on remuneration and benefits including salary bandings and rates of pay. Managing the annual pay review as well as, working with the retail commercial analyst to manage the monthly/quarterly/bi-annual bonus schemes ensuring correct payments are made.
*Support the learning and development manager in implementation of all succession planning activities, with a focus on encouraging internal talent development. Attending regional meetings, representing the HR Department and communicating HR initiatives and updates, leading sessions as and when required,
*Ensure all employee relations issues are recorded and logged ensuring full and comprehensive case files are maintained in all instances. Monitor all retail management probationary reviews are completed within the correct timeframe. Whilst supporting with any ad hoc duties required by the Head of Retail.
