Tim Horntons has signed its first franchise partner in the UK and Ireland.
Graeme and Lisa Tobias will become the first partners to franchise the brand in the UK and will open their first drive-thru site in Stenhousemuir in Scotland by the end of the year. They plan to open a number of sites across Scotland over the next 18 months
Kevin Hydes, chief finance and commercial officer of the Tim Hortons franchise in the UK, said: “We have seen great demand from many businesses interested in becoming franchise partners and after a thorough selection process, we are delighted to welcome Graeme and Lisa Tobias and their team to the Tim Hortons family.”
Tim Horntons opened its first UK site in Glasgow’s Argyle Street in June last year. The Canadian coffee chain now operates UK sites in and around Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast and Manchester. They have over 4,700 restaurants across the world.
