Nearing the completion of its £60 million refurbishment, Meadowall has announced it has signed up Hawes & Curtis and Ghost London to its lineup.

This will be Ghost’s first standalone store outside of London, however it will be the introduction of Hawes & Curtis’s regional debut.

As part of Meadowhall’s 21,000 sq ft of space, making its regional debut will be Nespresso on Park Lane, as well as an expansion of JD Sports and Virgin Holidays, whilst making a return will be toy retailer The Entertainer.

Also recently opening at the shopping centre was Treat Kitchen, the modern gourmet confectioner, Gobstoppers candy store and Australian tea specialist T2.

Commenting, Richard Crowther, British Land asset manager, said: “Securing brands for their regional debuts further strengthens our offering, whilst Meadowhall’s strong performance is also reflected by a growing trend amongst existing retailers to upsize.”

“Combined, the new and improved retailers and catering brands make Meadowhall even more appealing to visitors from across the region.”

The full transformation for Meadowhall is due for completion by the end of 2017.
