Also since its launch, the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer saw its biggest week and sales increased 86% in portable mobile charges, thought to be due the phenomenon of the Pokemon Go game.

However, the weather had an effect on fashion that saw sales drop 7% due to a decline in schoolwear purchases and home categories sales dropped 11.2% which meant big ticket products had a slower week. However, the department stores Heathrow branch saw a rise of 16.5% benefiting from the start of the school holidays.
