Thomas Sabo is to open a new store at the Intu shopping centre in Watford.

The premium jewellery company will be situated in a 1,000 square foot unit which will be located in the lower mall, close to Phase Eight, Office, Karen Millen and John Lewis.

Thomas Sabo’s UK & Ireland managing director, Jon Crossick said: “We are pleased to have the opportunity to open a standalone store in Intu Watford and have worked closely with Intu who have helped us to realise the right unit for our creative display requirements. We aim to open this summer and have every confidence in the future success of our brand within Intu Watford.”

The shopping centre is set to undergo a major transformation which will provide new retail spaces, a new Cineworld imax cinema and leisure complex, along with a new restaurant hub. The £100 million investment will integrate Intu Watford and Charter Place and a new public square will also be created to host events such as street theatre and music shows.
