Matalan chief executive leaves for House of Fraser

Matalan has announced that chief executive John King has left the company to take his place as chief executive at House of Fraser. As an interim measure, until the takeover by Missouri Bidco has been completed, John Hargreaves will assume responsibility for day to day matters in his capacity as executive chairman and Geoff Brady will continue in his role as senior independent director and deputy chairman.
