Macintosh Retail Group considers Brantano bid

Macintosh Retail Group is to bid for shoe chain Brantano, valuing the firm at around £111 million. Brantano operates 286 stores, including 125 in Belgium, four in Luxembourg, 146 in the United Kingdom and 11 franchise stores in the Middle East. The Macintosh Retail Group operates more than 450 footwear stores under the Dolcis, Scapino, Manfield, Invito and PRO brands in Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands.
