Vodafone UK to create 200 new retail jobs

Vodafone UK has confirmed that all 50 new sites for its retail store expansion programme announced last year have now been agreed. Forty new stores have already opened and the remaining 10 locations will open in the next few weeks.
The new store additions will take the company's total tally of stores to 400, with the new sites adding around 3,155 square metres of additional retail space and creating 200 additional advisor roles in total.
Tom Devine, director of sales for Vodafone UK, said: "In August we outlined plans to increase the number of stores to give customers more opportunity to get face-to-face help. This could be about anything from which handset is right for them, to receiving advice on the latest in mobile broadband technology such as the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 with built-in mobile broadband, or help with technical set up or a bill. We are delighted we've been able to complete the roll out on time and feedback from customers has been tremendous".
