'Career Forums - Let's Talk Retail' opens its doors at 12pm today, with an impressive line-up of recruiters ready to offer London's ambitious retail professionals a step up the career ladder.
Exhibitors at the two-day event, being held at the Hilton London Metropole near Paddington, include Argos, Bhs, Boots, BP, Foot Locker, Iceland, Joy, Kurt Geiger, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, Superdrug, Thomas Sabo and Whole Foods Market. Each will be seeking to recruit for a variety of retail positions from Sales Associates through to Store Management as well as head office roles in buying and merchandising.
As well as the recruiters the event will include a series of careers-based seminars and will host a CV Doctor to help candidates maximise the impact of their applications.
Event organiser Adam Tomkinson commented: "For anyone with ambitions in the retail industry [who are able to get to central London] Career Forums offers everything they could possibly need to help assure a fantastic retail future. It also provides a welcome note of positivity to counteract the chorus of retail industry doomsayers over recent months".
