Hamleys fast tracks expansion plans

Hamleys has agreed a franchise deal to open in nine markets in the Balkans, with franchise shops set to open shortly in the Middle East and India.
Currently the toy retailer has just two international stores in Dubai and Jordan and has partnered with franchisee Delta Sport to open in central Belgrade in Serbia in October and possibly in Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania and Macedonia.
Delta Sport has opened stores in the region for Inditex as well as Nike.
