Ralph Lauren awarded the Chevalier de la Legion d’honneur

Ralph Lauren has been awarded the Chevalier de la Legion d'honneur by the President of France. Mr Lauren received the honour for his global lifestyle empire and in recognition of his charitable work, including his commitment to the fight against breast cancer. The Ralph Lauren brand recently opened its newest French flagship store, now Lauren's largest in Europe. Polo Ralph Lauren operates over 300 stores worldwide, with new stores in Dubai and Korea.
Envy collapses into administrationFashion retailer Envy has collapsed into administration. Eight stores have already been closed by administrators Leonard Curtis, leaving ten still trading. In March, John Kinnaird sold the chain to a consortium of private equity investors.
