Pub operator Grand Union Group will open three new sites by the end of the year and plans to have 16 locations by 2011.
The next site to open will be the Young's-leased site in Wandsworth, with another two sites to open in November including one in London's Paddington Basin area next to the M&S headquarters. Each will feature floral wallpaper and vintage furniture and serve gourmet burgers and handmade pizzas for lunch and dinner.
Speaking to Big Hospitality, managing director Adam Marshall said: "We're looking at quite a few sites, but the plate is full. We'll wait until these sites are finished before continuing the expansion. We plan to increase from 12 to 16 Grand Union sites by 2011."
Last year, the group moved from four to nine sites, tripling turnover.
