The hotly anticipated Gap and Valentino design collaboration will launch on 27th November. The range will be available in a limited number of stores worldwide including Gap's new Milan store, Gap's flagship store in Oxford Street and Dover Street Market.
Speaking at the launch of Gap in Italy, Valentino's creative directors Maria Grazia and Pier Paolo Piccioli said: "We are vey pleased that Gap thought of us as a partner for this project. Valentino and Gap synthesize the current trend of combining luxury with basics. We wanted to mix traditionally high-end elements with Gap's celebrated street style, to create couture looks with a contemporary attitude."
The range of seven pieces are typically Valentino with ruffles and bows, which the designers describe as "Gap with couture proportions".
