Ikea crowned "retailer of the year, Europe

Furniture and homeware chain Ikea has been crowned "retailer of the year" in Europe, following a survey of over 1.45 million consumers throughout 10 countries. Retailer of the Year is the largest consumer survey in Europe, assessing over 1100 retail chains this year.
Ikea came out in front, appearing in the top five retail chains for seven out of the 10 countries and being named the best retailer in Portugal and Switzerland. The sports chain Decathlon was inside the top five in four countries and takes second place, whilst M&S Mode and Pearle Opticians shared third place.
