Banana Republic is set to make its Parisian debut this December when it opens its 16,000-square-foot Champs Elysée flagship.
Gap Inc. has operated its Gap brand in France since 1993 and currently has approximately 40 stores in the country.
However, the company only recently started to introduce its Banana Republic brand into Europe with an Italian flagship in Milan in 2010, as well as opening a dedicated European Banana Republic e-commerce site.
"Following the success of our London and Milan openings, we are delighted to bring Banana Republic to Paris and take another exciting step on our international growth strategy," said Stephen Sunnucks, president, International at Gap inc.
