Retail management careers event Career Forums has reported good footfall on the first day, with ambitious retail professionals flocking to find the next rung up the career ladder.
"Turnout for the event has been good," said a Career Forums spokesman, "but then with the calibre of recruiters on show we had hoped it would be.
"If any London-based retail managers couldn't make it yesterday I strongly urge them to come on down today – CV in hand!"
Today is the second and final day of the event, being held at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel on London's Portman Square, and organisers remain confident of good, high-quality footfall.
The spokesman continued: "Despite the tough economic times and job uncertainties many people are facing at the moment, the allure of these fantastic brands remains compelling – who wouldn't want to work for them?"
Exhibitors at the event include: Morrisons, La Senza, Gap, Thomas Sabo, House of Fraser, Swarovski, Selfridges, Benefit Cosmetics, Makro, Footlocker and Al Tayer.
