Luxury department store Selfridges has launched its first social media friendly app as part of the expansion of its omni-channel platforms.

The new iOS app puts the “extraordinary world of Selfridges” at your fingertips with personalised style inspiration from customers’ favourite brands and insider alerts about events at the user’s nearest store.

Features include the ability to shop through Selfridges’ Instagram feed, choose between a variety of delivery options including click-and-collect, order tracking and syncing accounts across different devices, including shopping bags and wish lists.

Approximately 60% of traffic to Selfridges website, which re-launched last year, comes from mobile devices.
