Jazwares is a leading global toy and consumer products business, recognised for developing award-winning brands and creating innovative play experiences for consumers worldwide. Founded in 1997 and now part of Berkshire Hathaway, the organisation has established itself as a market leader by identifying emerging trends and transforming them into commercially successful, high-quality products. Its portfolio includes globally recognised brands such as Squishmallows™, Pokémon™, Hello Kitty™, Star Wars™, BumBumz™, and Adopt Me™.
The business operates in a fast-paced, highly creative environment where innovation, speed to market, and consumer engagement are critical to success. Jazwares places a strong emphasis on imaginative thinking and product excellence, continually evolving its product offering to meet changing customer preferences and market demands.
Product Development plays a pivotal role in bringing new products to market. The team is responsible for managing the technical development lifecycle from initial concept through to distribution, ensuring products meet quality standards, budget requirements, delivery timelines, and consumer expectations.
Product Design is a highly creative function focused on the development of both proprietary and licensed product lines. Working closely with brand strategy teams, designers create innovative products that align with commercial objectives while maintaining the integrity of key intellectual property and licensing partnerships.
Brand Management acts as the steward of Jazwares' product portfolio. The team is responsible for setting brand direction, developing strategic plans, and ensuring products remain relevant and competitive within the rapidly evolving toy and entertainment sectors.
Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market reach. Account Managers play a key role in maintaining strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering against quarterly and annual sales targets.
Jazwares was founded in 1997 in Sunrise, Florida, by Judd Zebersky, and is best known for Squishmallows, which it gained when it bought Kellytoy in 2020. It's part of Berkshire Hathaway, which bought its owner Alleghany in 2022.
Here's the kind of UK roles Jazwares hires for, its brands, and similar roles we're recruiting for right now.
Jazwares' London roles are commercial and creative rather than in stores. Recent adverts include a licensing manager for the UK and EMEA, securing licensing deals across Jazwares-owned brands such as Squishmallows, and a role leading creative direction and brand oversight for Squishmallows licensees.
Brand and licensing skills travel. Licensing, product approvals and protecting brand standards with partners are valued across consumer products and retail.
