Archax has secured a regulated pathway into the US securities market
Archax has secured a regulated pathway into the US securities market, and it’s doing so without rebuilding an American exchange, custody framework or clearing stack. Instead, the firm will enter as an introducing broker, leaning on tZERO’s regulated US infrastructure to support its digital and traditional securities distribution.
FINRA has approved the New Member Application of Archax Markets LLC, completing its registration as an SEC regulated broker dealer. With this approval, Archax can offer private placements of both traditional securities and tokenised real world assets to accredited and institutional investors. The firm expects to begin operating in Q3 2026, focusing on client relationships and distribution while tZERO handles the operational backbone.
Under the partnership, tZERO Securities and tZERO Digital Asset Securities will provide correspondent clearing, digital asset securities custody and escrow services. Eligible instruments may also trade on tZERO’s alternative trading system (ATS), giving Archax secondary market access without needing to run its own US ATS or build parallel clearing and custody businesses.
The approval gives Archax a clean, regulated entry point into the US ,but it’s not a blanket sign off for every tokenised product. tZERO notes that certain digital asset securities, especially unregistered investment contracts, may fall outside protections offered under the Securities Investor Protection Act.
