Clear Street has taken a major step toward becoming a global execution platform
Clear Street has taken a major step toward becoming a global execution platform by expanding its electronic execution offering far beyond North America. Clients can now access 27 markets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific through a single connection. This is a move that significantly broadens the firm’s reach and simplifies cross regional trading. This expansion builds on the algorithmic execution capabilities gained through its 2024 acquisition of Fox River, previously focused on US and Canadian equities.
With the new rollout, clients can view trades and positions across all added markets in the same real‑time ledger that powers Clear Street’s US business. In EMEA, the firm now supports electronic execution across 22 primary exchanges, as well as dark venues, systematic internalisers, periodic auction books and ETF liquidity via RFQ workflows. In APAC, Clear Street is live in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand and Singapore, with South Korea and Taiwan expected to follow soon.
Both regions offer nine core execution strategies and integrate with major EMS and OMS platforms. Clients can tailor their approach with more than 100 configurable parameters, and bespoke setups can be deployed within 24 hours.
Clear Street positions this expansion as part of its broader ambition to build a unified global platform for institutional execution. Alongside the geographic rollout, the firm has introduced a 24‑hour smart order router for US equities, enabling overnight access from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. ET. CEO Uri Cohen says the combined launches give investors execution, smart routing and a single view of positions across three major regions, extending Clear Street’s coverage both in geography and in trading hours.
