CMC Funded has chosen Match‑Trader as the technology backbone

CMC Funded has chosen Match‑Trader as the technology backbone for its move into the proprietary trading space, marking a notable partnership between a major industry player and one of the fastest‑growing prop trading platforms. Operating independently from CMC Markets’ regulated business, CMC Funded launched its simulated prop trading programme on October 1 with a clear focus on delivering a structured, challenge‑based experience for traders. Match‑Trader will power this framework, supporting multi‑stage evaluations, trader monitoring, performance analytics and a fully configurable challenge environment.

The selection followed extensive testing across security, performance and functionality criteria that CMC Funded highlighted as essential for a scalable and resilient prop trading operation. The firm has also layered AI integrations on top of the platform, enabling automated tracking of trades, orders and executions to generate deeper insights into trader behaviour and decision‑making. Delivered as a Progressive Web App, Match‑Trader gives participants access to charting, trading tools and account management across desktop and mobile, while also offering tournament management, affiliate programme tools and analytics covering participation, fees, payouts and success rates.

CMC Funded can tailor the platform to its exact model, adjusting parameters such as account size, leverage, trading periods, loss limits and profit targets. It can also manage evaluation stages and monitor account performance in real time. According to Serhii Poplavskyi, Head of Match‑Trader at Match‑Trade Technologies, the platform provides CMC Funded with a robust and flexible foundation for building and scaling its prop trading programme.

RHR believes this partnership reflects a broader industry shift toward more advanced, data‑driven prop trading models where technology, AI and customisation are becoming essential differentiators rather than optional enhancements.
