Pepperstone is signalling a strong 2026

Pepperstone is signalling a strong 2026, with CEO Tamas Szabo highlighting double‑digit growth across new clients and revenue, alongside a 30% surge in trading volumes. While the broker doesn’t publish mid‑year results, Szabo noted that new client first trades are up 40% year‑on‑year, a clear indicator of momentum across both established markets and emerging growth regions.

A major contributor to this trajectory has been Pepperstone’s strategic expansion in the Middle East. Earlier this year, the broker secured a Category 5 licence from the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority and opened a new regional hub in Dubai. The office is already staffed with seasoned FX leaders tasked with accelerating Pepperstone’s footprint across the region and deepening its presence in one of the world’s most competitive trading corridors.

The company is also pushing forward on its crypto ambitions. Originally launched to serve Australian clients, Pepperstone’s crypto arm is now undergoing a phased global rollout. To drive this expansion, the broker appointed Nigel Fernandes as CTO , a technology leader with two decades of experience at Xero, SEEK and Coles. His mandate centres on building an AI‑native engineering foundation that enhances speed, reliability and client access to advanced trading tools.

These moves reflect a broader strategy: strengthening regulatory reach, diversifying product offerings and investing heavily in technology that supports scale. With rising client activity and new markets opening up, Pepperstone appears intent on shaping the next phase of its global growth story.

RHR believes this demonstrates how brokers with clear regulatory strategy, strong leadership hires and disciplined tech investment are best positioned to capture the next wave of global trading demand.
