Taurex Limited has delivered a turnaround in 2025, marking a return to profitability after a challenging prior year

Taurex Limited has delivered a turnaround in 2025, marking a return to profitability after a challenging prior year. The London based online trading firm reported an annual profit of £148,561, a sharp contrast to its £1.71 million loss in 2024. This shift reflects a year of renewed momentum and operational discipline, setting a stronger foundation for future growth.

A key driver behind the improved performance was a surge in revenue. Taurex’s turnover climbed to £5.62 million, nearly tripling the £1.95 million recorded the year before. While costs also rose, administrative expenses increased to £4.56 million. The scale of revenue growth far outpaced the rise in expenditure. As a result, gross profit jumped from £1.33 million to £4.66 million, enabling the company to move firmly back into operating profit territory.

Leadership developments also played a role in the company’s renewed trajectory. In May, Taurex welcomed back Matthew Wright as Global CEO, four years after his previous tenure in the role. Having served as a Non‑Executive Director over the past year, Wright’s return signals a strategic push to strengthen direction and execution during a period of rapid commercial expansion.

With operating profit reaching £100,557, increased interest income, and a £32,954 tax credit further boosting the bottom line, Taurex closed the year with a total profit improvement of roughly £1.85 million. The company’s 2025 results highlight how decisive leadership and strong revenue growth can reshape financial performance, turning a loss making year into a profitable one and positioning Taurex for its next phase of development.
