Jigsaw has posted a strong uplift in sales for the first half of the year

Jigsaw has posted a strong uplift in sales for the first half of the year, signalling real momentum behind its turnaround strategy. The fashion retailer reported an 18% rise in sales for the six months to July, driven by standout performance in several core categories. Dresses led the charge with a 43% surge during the spring/summer season, alongside strong demand for cover‑ups and even a yellow suit that sold out within three weeks.

Both channels contributed to the growth: store sales rose 11% on a like‑for‑like basis despite a subdued retail environment, while online sales climbed 21%. Notably, international e‑commerce continues to accelerate, with a 48% jump year on year. These results follow Jigsaw’s £3.5m loss in 2025 and indicate that its sharpened product strategy and tighter operational controls are beginning to resonate with shoppers.

Looking ahead, Jigsaw is preparing to expand its global footprint by launching on Nordstrom and Macy’s marketplaces this autumn/winter. With retailers across the sector navigating cautious consumer spending and rising costs, Jigsaw’s latest performance suggests that a focused product offering and disciplined operations can still cut through in a competitive market.
