Area Manager

We’re partnering with an established, high-performing national business seeking an ambitious area manager to lead a large, multi-site operation across the Yorkshire region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business undergoing significant transformation, with a strong focus on growth, customer experience and developing high-performing teams.

As area manager, you’ll lead and develop a network of more than 20 locations, working closely with site leaders to drive commercial performance, improve operational standards and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll translate business strategy into practical action, use performance data to identify opportunities, coach and develop managers, and maintain a visible presence across your region. You’ll also play a key role in leading teams through change, embedding new initiatives and building a positive, accountable and collaborative culture.

We’re looking for an experienced multi-site retail leader with a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to develop people and deliver results across multiple locations. You’ll be an engaging, hands-on leader who combines emotional intelligence and resilience with sound decision-making, strong coaching skills and the confidence to challenge and influence. Experience in fast-paced, service-led or assisted-selling retail environments would be particularly valuable. Above all, you’ll be adaptable, people-focused and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a changing business.
