Garment Technologist Assistant

We are recruiting for a Garment Technologist Assistant to join a growing fashion and activewear business on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and an interest in garment technology, fit and product development to support a busy Technical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Garment Technologists
• Maintain product development files, trackers and technical information
• Coordinate samples with suppliers and the wider product team
• Support fit sessions and record follow-up actions
• Assist with supplier communication and critical path updates
• Organise samples, fit models and wearer trials
• Track fabric and garment testing reports
• Support care label administration and general Technical team projects

About you

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident using Excel and Google Docs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and keen to learn
• Interest in garment construction, fit and product development
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Previous fashion or activewear experience would be beneficial
