HR Business Partner (HR Generalist)
We are delighted to be partnering with an established international retail business, renowned for their horological product, who is looking to recruit an HR Business Partner to support its UK & Ireland retail operations. This is a field-based role with responsibility for partnering closely with retail leadership to deliver a proactive, commercially focused HR service during an exciting period of growth, including multiple new store openings.
Key responsibilities will include working closely with senior stakeholders, where you will provide end-to-end HR support across recruitment, employee relations, performance management and learning & development. A key focus will be leading recruitment for new store openings, partnering with managers on complex ER matters, coaching leaders on HR best practice, identifying training needs and delivering development initiatives across the retail estate. You'll also contribute to HR projects, ensure compliance with employment legislation and regularly travel to stores to build strong relationships and support operational success.
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with at least three years' generalist HR experience, ideally gained within a retail or hospitality environment. You'll have strong employee relations knowledge, experience managing end-to-end recruitment, and the confidence to influence managers at all levels. This opportunity would suit either an experienced HR Business Partner or a Senior HR Advisor ready to step into their first business partnering role, with excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
The role offers a salary of £58,500 plus an annual £3,500 bonus, 31 days' annual leave, a £529 monthly car allowance (or fully paid public transport), up to 5% pension contribution, life assurance, private healthcare after one year's service, a 40% staff discount, Cycle to Work and Season Ticket Loan schemes, eye care support, employee product sales, Perkbox membership, and a field-based working pattern with two office days and three days visiting stores each week.
