Join a well-established, fashion-led footwear retailer with a strong high-street presence and a passion for bringing the latest footwear trends to customers. With a network of over 90 stores, a busy warehouse operation and a growing head office team, technology plays a vital role in keeping the business connected, secure and running smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative IT team and make a real impact across the wider business.

As IT Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, securing and improving the organisation’s infrastructure across head office, retail stores and warehouse environments. You’ll manage and support networks, servers, cloud services, endpoints, backups and data systems, while troubleshooting technical issues, monitoring performance and addressing security vulnerabilities. You’ll also contribute to infrastructure projects and deployments, maintain technical documentation, work closely with third-party providers and share technical knowledge with junior team members, helping to drive continuous improvement and strengthen cybersecurity.

We’re looking for an experienced IT professional with at least six years’ experience across infrastructure, networking, security and technical support. You’ll have strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Fortinet networking technologies, alongside hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows desktop and server environments, VMware and Hyper-V. Experience with endpoint protection, patching, secure configuration, Microsoft SQL, FTP and data security is also important. You’ll be a proactive problem-solver with strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis and communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a collaborative approach to improving systems, processes and security standards.

The salary is £50,000–£55,000 per annum, with flexibility for candidates with the right experience. The role offers hybrid working, with four days in the London office and one day working from home, alongside an eight-hour working day and flexible start times between 8am and 10am. Benefits include a 5% employee pension contribution and 3% employer contribution following probation, 23 days’ annual leave plus eight bank holidays, with annual leave increasing after two years’ service, contributions towards eye tests, a generous staff footwear allowance covering five discounted pairs per quarter, free breakfasts, learning and development programmes, and regular social events and team-building activities.
