We’re working with a well-established and growing global financial services business with a strong international presence and operations across multiple regulated markets. The business has built an impressive reputation within its sector, with continued expansion across global offices and high-profile partnerships including Atlético Madrid and the UFC. With a supportive culture, strong financial backing and a genuinely international environment, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business that continues to grow in a competitive and fast-moving industry.

We’re looking for a hands-on management accountant to support the month-end close and financial reporting process, while also taking ownership of the accounts payable function. The role will involve preparing journals and monthly management accounts, completing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting year-end audit activity, overseeing weekly payment runs and providing guidance to the AP team. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to finance transformation, process improvement, cash flow management and strengthening financial controls across the wider business. Based in the London office, you’ll work closely with teams and entities internationally.

The successful candidate will ideally be part-qualified with only a few exams remaining, with relevant exemptions and previous experience of sitting professional examinations. You’ll have a strong understanding of management accounting, month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting, alongside a good knowledge of accounts payable. We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, analytical and detail-oriented, comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in the detail. Experience working with global teams would be beneficial, ideally within financial services or a similar environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, particularly as the role will act as a bridge between the financial controller and AP team.

The salary is up to £60,000 depending on experience, with a benefits package including life assurance, discretionary bonus, monthly and quarterly incentives, and an all-inclusive paid trip to one of the company’s global offices. There is also the opportunity to work from other international offices, alongside full support towards completing professional qualifications, including funding for remaining exams and half days to attend examinations. The role is based in London, with a hybrid working pattern of four days in the office and one day from home.
