Night Operations Manager – Manchester

A leading retail business is looking for an experienced Night Operations Manager to join its leadership team within a fast-paced, high-volume operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused leader who enjoys balancing operational excellence with exceptional customer service and thrives in a dynamic trading environment.

As Night Manager, you'll lead a large team across both service and operations, ensuring the store is fully recovered, compliant and ready for trade each day. You'll oversee areas including promotional implementation, ticketing, store standards, health & safety, and overall operational execution, while also taking a hands-on role in delivering an outstanding customer experience during trading hours.

You'll be responsible for coaching and developing colleagues, driving engagement across the team, and creating a positive, high-performing culture. Working closely with the wider management team, you'll influence, support and develop both experienced and emerging leaders while maintaining high standards across the operation.

To be successful, you'll have management experience within a high-volume retail environment, with responsibility for large teams and a strong track record of delivering results through people. You'll be a proactive and engaging leader with excellent communication skills, strong operational awareness, and a genuine passion for customer service. Experience within department stores, supermarkets, big-box retail or other fast-paced retail environments would be highly beneficial.

The salary is paying up to £44,500
