Senior Knitwear Designer | Womenswear

A leading fashion supplier is looking for an experienced Senior Knitwear Designer to lead the development of trend-led womenswear knitwear collections for major UK high street retailers.

Working closely with UK and South Asia-based teams, you will drive seasonal product development from concept to approval, combining creative vision with strong technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead seasonal knitwear collections from concept through to approval.
Translate trends, yarn innovation, and market research into commercial product.
Work closely with overseas factories to ensure quality, cost, and production feasibility.
Create technical packs, oversee fittings, and manage product development.
Present collections to customers and senior stakeholders.
Mentor junior designers and build strong supplier relationships.
About You:

4+ years' knitwear design experience, ideally within a supplier or retail environment.
Strong commercial womenswear knitwear portfolio.
Excellent technical knowledge of yarns, stitches, gauges, and garment construction.
Experience working with overseas factories.
Confident communicator with strong presentation and leadership skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced business and play a key role in delivering commercially successful knitwear collections for leading retail customers.
