Women's Senior Denim and Casuals Designer
This is a great role for a very trend-led and experienced denim designer, interested to design across the casual wovens category also.
Based in a super studio and with the stability of a solid set up, you will be working closely with the head of department and wider design team. As a senior designer on the division you will have responsibility for designing women's multi-product denim and casual wovens showroom ranges and have the ability to design into your customer high fashion accounts including leading European ones.
Day to day you will be researching the market and carrying out careful analysis to have a strong understanding of the most up to date trends; remaining aware of and implementing direction and innovation across fabric/ washes/ shape; creating on-trend, forward-thinking, yet commercial designs in response to briefs; producing accurate and detailed CADs to present to buyers and technical packs for product development; presenting range to customers in a confident manner; communicating effectively with team members in the UK and Asia; and overseeing the development of sampling, ensuring deadlines are met.
