The John Lewis department store chain will be recruiting over 3,500 temporary staff members to fill roles across the retail and distribution sections of its business ahead of the busy Christmas trading period.

The retailer will be recruiting for roles in a number of departments including the John Lewis Christmas Shop, gift food and catering, electrical and home technology, as well as behind-the-scenes stock management roles.

The retailer also has vacancies available across its distribution and contact centres networks to support branches and johnlewis.com.
