B2BROKER adds AI tools to B2TRADER

B2BROKER Group has upgraded its B2TRADER platform with support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and a new AI chat feature inside the trading terminal.

The update allows traders to connect external AI models, including ChatGPT and Claude, directly to their trading accounts. Through these connections, traders can analyse market conditions, review portfolios and, where permissions allow, carry out trading actions.

The move reflects a wider shift across the trading industry. AI is no longer being used only as a tool for market analysis. It is becoming a more active part of the trading workflow.

Brokers and trading technology providers are increasingly building AI features into their platforms to improve decision-making and operational efficiency. Some firms are using AI mainly for account insights and trade preparation. Others are developing more advanced uses.

The focus is moving towards intelligent AI agents that can interpret market data, monitor account activity and support trading activity within set controls.

An important part of this development is governance and permission management. Brokers keep control over how much access AI agents receive. Access can range from read-only analysis through to placing, changing and closing trades.

The safeguards are designed to ensure AI agents only operate within authorised accounts. This is intended to balance automation with compliance requirements and trader oversight.

As AI tools continue to develop, the discussion in the industry is shifting. The question is no longer whether AI will become part of trading platforms, but how firms can use it effectively while maintaining transparency and control.

What RHR thinks

We believe the future of trading will be shaped by AI-driven intelligence and automation. Success will depend on finding the right balance between innovation, human oversight and risk management.

What this means for hiring. The story is relevant for technology, product, compliance and trading roles as brokers add AI capabilities and controls to their platforms. Demand could increase for professionals who can develop, manage and oversee AI tools, permissions and trading workflows.
