CFI reports record Q3 trading volume

CFI Financial Group reported a record $3.45 trillion in notional trading volume in Q3. That was up 123% year on year and 14% higher than Q2.

The result is the highest quarterly trading volume the Dubai-based broker has ever reported. It points to continued growth across the firm's global business and a stronger position in the financial services sector.

The company's performance over the year has also been strong. Trading volume for the first nine months reached $8.8 trillion. That is already more than one-third above its full-year 2025 total of $6.4 trillion.

Quarterly trading volumes have increased steadily throughout the year. They rose from $2.3 trillion in Q1 to $3.03 trillion in Q2, before reaching the new record in Q3.

CFI said this reflects higher client activity, broader participation in the markets and the ability of its global business model to handle continued growth.

While growth from one quarter to the next slowed slightly compared with earlier in the year, annual growth continued to gather pace. Year-on-year growth increased from 81% in Q1 to 101% in Q2 and 123% in Q3.

The firm said quarterly trading volumes have nearly tripled since the start of 2025, highlighting the impact of its expansion plans.

Group CEO Ziad Melhem said the business still sees significant opportunities ahead as it expands internationally and strengthens its position in existing markets.

What RHR thinks

We believe CFI’s record trading volumes reflect not only strong market demand and higher client activity, but also the value of scalable infrastructure, strategic expansion and a client-focused approach. Consistent growth over multiple quarters makes the firm a standout performer in the global brokerage sector and shows its ability to take advantage of changing trading opportunities across international markets.

What this means for hiring. Continued growth, international expansion and rising trading activity could increase demand for sales, business development, technology and operations roles. Firms scaling their platforms and global presence may also need additional product, support and client-facing staff to support growth.
