B2Prime’s latest leadership update points to a strong second quarter
B2Prime’s latest leadership update points to a strong second quarter, with the company highlighting how its trading infrastructure helped convert unusually volatile market conditions into higher profitability. Geopolitical tensions kept commodity markets active through the summer, particularly in oil and gold, creating both increased client activity and greater pressure on execution quality. B2Prime positions its systems and recent technology investments as the reason it was able to benefit from that environment.
The firm reported a 79% rise in net profit and a 74% increase in operating profit between Q1 and Q2 2026, though it did not disclose the underlying amounts. Using the previously reported rounded 2025 profit of €15 million, the first half of 2026 likely came in near €20 million.
Client trading income reached €56.5 million in H1 2026, already surpassing the €52.8 million generated across all of 2025. Alongside this financial momentum, B2Prime continued its push toward becoming an “AI‑native brokerage,” launching an AI Assistant for B2Trader, redesigning its client interface, and expanding its Cyprus office. Shareholder equity also increased 54%, though the absolute value was not provided.
The comparison between H1 2026 and full‑year 2025 suggests a clear acceleration. Without exact profit figures or year‑on‑year data, it remains difficult to separate the impact of technology investments from the boost provided by volatile trading conditions.
