12 FTC Payroll Specialist

We’re working with a globally recognised retail group, home to a portfolio of well-known lifestyle and performance-led brands. One in particular sits at the intersection of fashion, fitness and everyday wear — a premium activewear brand known for combining style with function and building a strong, loyal customer following across international markets.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong retail payroll background who understands fast-paced, multi-site operations and is now looking to move into a global head office environment.

As international payroll specialist, you’ll take ownership of payroll delivery across multiple European locations, ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in full compliance with local legislation. You’ll work closely with external payroll providers, internal HR and Finance teams, and play a key role in delivering a seamless employee pay experience.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on detail, structure and accuracy — and who understands the importance of payroll in a high-volume, people-focused retail business.

What you’ll be doing:
• Managing and supporting multiple European payrolls with external providers
• Ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely processing across all regions
• Preparing and validating payroll input data and reporting packs
• Acting as a key point of contact for payroll queries and escalations
• Working closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth processes
• Supporting continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes

What we’re looking for:
• Strong payroll experience within a retail or multi-site, fast-paced environment
• Exposure to European / international payroll (essential)
• Highly detail-focused with strong Excel skills
• Confident working with HR and Finance stakeholders
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday / CloudPay advantageous)
• Proactive, organised and comfortable working to deadlines

Salary & Benefits:
£42,000 + hybrid working (2 days office / 3 from home)

• 25 days annual leave
• Pension contribution
• Work from anywhere up to 4 weeks per year
• Strong retail group culture with globally recognised brands

If you’re from a retail background and ready to step into a global payroll role where accuracy, ownership and impact matter — this is a brilliant next move.
