Caleb Joyce is recruiting for an Interim eCommerce Finance & Reconciliation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Finance & Reconciliation Specialist to join a fast-paced, international retail and consumer brand on an interim basis.

This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple eCommerce platforms, payment providers, marketplaces, and ERP systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving financial controls, resolving reconciliation issues, and supporting the finance team's month-end reporting activities.

Key responsibilities:

· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across eCommerce sales channels and payment gateways.
· Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to sales, refunds, chargebacks, commissions, and settlement reports.
· Reconcile transactions from platforms such as Shopify, marketplaces, and third-party payment providers.
· Support month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
· Work closely with Finance, eCommerce, Customer Service, and Operations teams to identify and resolve issues.
· Review and enhance reconciliation processes, controls, and reporting.
· Assist with audit requests and documentation.
· Provide insight into transaction flows and financial data integrity across systems.

About you:

· Strong experience in eCommerce finance, revenue reconciliation, or financial operations.
· Proven track record reconciling high volumes of transactions across multiple sales channels and payment providers.
· Experience with platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Zalando, PayPal, Klarna, Stripe, Adyen, or similar.
· Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
· Comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment and quickly identifying process improvements.
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Contract details:

· Interim / Contract assignment
· Immediate start preferred
· Hybrid working arrangement
· Paying up to £50,000
