Jason Ellis is recruiting for a Demand Planner covering International freight on board and the Iberian region

Are you a data-driven demand planner with a passion for forecasting, inventory optimisation, and driving supply chain excellence? We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional to join a fast-growing consumer products business and play a key role in shaping demand and supply planning strategies.

The role

As Demand Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing accurate demand forecasts, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams, and ensuring product availability while minimising inventory risk.

Key responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and business insights.
· Lead the monthly forecasting and demand review process.
· Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to understand promotional activities and market dynamics.
· Monitor forecast performance, identify trends, and implement continuous improvements.
· Support inventory management and stock optimisation initiatives.
· Analyse supply chain performance and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and maximise service levels.
· Produce regular reporting and KPI analysis for key stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

· Proven experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain Analytics.
· Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities; experience with ERP and forecasting systems is highly desirable.
· Demonstrated ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
· Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
· Experience within consumer goods, retail, FMCG, or related sectors is advantageous.
