AvaTrade launches AI-powered trading platform

AvaTrade has launched a new multi-asset trading platform with AI-powered fundamental and technical analysis built directly into the trading experience.

The company says the platform uses more than two decades of historical trader behaviour data. It is designed to provide personalised trading signals, market insights and tools to help retail investors make better-informed decisions.

Chief Executive Daire Ferguson said the launch is an important step in AvaTrade’s efforts to improve the trading experience through technology.

The platform also includes a highly customisable interface. Traders can arrange their workspace using drag-and-drop features and access alerts, market news and heatmaps from one place.

Users can monitor positions and account performance through a single dashboard. The platform also works across web and mobile devices, allowing traders to stay connected to the markets wherever they are.

The launch comes shortly after AvaTrade agreed to acquire a majority stake in FXCM Group’s business and brand rights.

Together, the new platform and the planned acquisition show AvaTrade’s intention to strengthen its position in the retail trading market. The company is aiming to serve both new and experienced traders with more advanced tools and resources.

What RHR thinks

We believe AI is quickly becoming a key way for retail trading firms to stand out from competitors. Long-term success will depend on how well brokers bring together intelligent analytics, ease of use and personalised client experiences within a single platform.

What this means for hiring. Firms investing in AI-powered trading platforms are likely to need more technology, product and platform development professionals. AvaTrade’s platform launch and planned expansion through the FXCM acquisition may also increase demand for client-facing and trading support roles.
