Leverate has introduced a new tool

Leverate has introduced a new tool that allows traders on its platform to route orders through AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude. The feature, called MCP for Traders, enables an assistant to prepare an order and present it to the user directly inside the chat. A trade is only sent to the market once the trader explicitly approves it, keeping human decision‑making firmly in control.

This release builds on Leverate’s earlier MCP server launched in July, which connected AI systems to brokers’ CRM, marketing and risk data while deliberately excluding trade execution. MCP for Traders is the next step in that progression, extending AI access from operational data into the trading workflow itself, without removing trader oversight.

Across 2026, brokers and trading technology providers have rapidly expanded AI connectivity. An FM Intelligence study found at least ten firms opened client accounts to AI agents in the first half of the year, with Anthropic’s Claude appearing in nine of those implementations. The trend reflects a broader shift toward AI‑assisted trading, where agents help with analysis, workflow automation and now, controlled order routing.

Leverate’s version is designed as an optional setting that brokers and prop firms can activate for their own traders. It ships disabled by default, giving firms the ability to adopt AI supported order flow at their own pace while maintaining full control over how and when the feature is used.
