Mango has revealed that it will be strengthening its presence in France with the opening of more than 70 new stores in the country over the next few years.

The move will bring the total to 300 by 2025.

The retailer has also introduced its new Mediterranean-inspired store concept to a shop in Paris which has just reopened in Saint-Lazare.

The new store has a selling space of 730 square metres and will stock clothing for women and kids.

The Saint Lazare shop is the first in France to feature the New Med concept which has already been applied to some of Mango’s other flagship stores.

Mango has created a new fitting room area within the store that features USB plugs for charging mobile phones and light adjustment to improve how customers see the front and back of outfits.

The space also includes a dedicated click and collect area, tailoring service and containers where customers can deposit clothing and footwear to give their garments a second life.
