TK Maxx is eyeing expansion in London through the opening of more smaller format stores.

According to the Evening Standard, the clothing and homewares retailer has sent a list of potential locations, which include central London areas such as Holborn and Notting Hill, to a number of UK retail property agents.

The list is also understood to include 28 places outside the City and West End such as Archway, Barnet, Elephant & Castle and Upminster.

The newspaper said TK Maxx’s list of requirements, which has been given to KLM Real Estate and McMullen Real Estate, include stores spanning 10,000 to 30,000 square feet of space.
