Allocations Manager
An international lifestyle brand, celebrated for its high-quality, design-led products, is seeking an experienced allocations manager to oversee the allocation strategy across UK and European markets. As the business continues to grow and push boundaries with its innovative product range, this is a key role within the merchandising function that offers real impact and visibility.
Reporting into the director of merchandising, you will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring that the right stock reaches the right stores at the right time. You’ll focus on optimising product availability and improving store performance through strategic allocation decisions, using data insights and close collaboration with planning, buying, merchandising, and store operations. A major part of your remit will include supporting new store openings and ensuring allocation timelines are met to deliver strong launches.
This role would suit someone with prior experience in allocations or branch merchandising, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-store retail environment. You’ll need a highly analytical mindset, a strong eye for detail, and a confident communication style. Leadership or mentoring experience is highly advantageous, as developing the team’s skills and capabilities will be a central part of your role.
The position offers a salary of up to £65,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 33 days holiday, life assurance, BUPA rewards, share schemes, and generous staff discounts. The company operates a hybrid working model of four days in the office and one day working from home.
