We are currently seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Basildon – a thriving Essex town known for its bustling shopping centre, great transport links, and welcoming community. Your Role as Assistant Store Manager
As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Store Manager to lead the team, deliver an exceptional shopping experience, and drive store performance. You’ll help ensure every customer enjoys a warm welcome and every day in store runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Leadership: Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating the team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales goals.
• Drive Sales: Use commercial awareness to identify opportunities and help implement effective sales strategies.
• Operational Support: Take responsibility for store operations in the Store Manager’s absence, maintaining high standards and efficiency.
• Customer Experience: Create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Bonmarché’s values and brand identity.
• Team Development: Support, coach, and develop team members to help them reach their full potential.
What We’re Looking For
• Strong leadership potential and the ability to support and motivate a team.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to driving sales and delivering results.
• A genuine passion for fashion retail and creating a positive shopping experience.
• Previous retail or supervisory experience is desirable, but full training and support will be provided.
